OBSESSED was a group sculpture exhibition held in the Julian Hall Art Galleries at Illinois State University in the fall of 2025. The exhibition featured the work of several artists, including Draper Matthews, Bethany Hathaway, Lindsey Holtz, Ace Speck, and Nikki Decker. The exhibition was curated by Draper Matthews.

The artists were asked to make work that related in some form or another to the concept of obsession. Featured on this page are the four works by Draper Matthews that were included in the exhibition.

The four works by Matthews in this exhibition form a narrative about the cycle human beings find themselves in of constantly evaluating the decisions that they have made and using that information to make further choices in how they act. The works Arrogance, Regret, Hindsight, and The Future illustrate this cyclical pattern.
